Leaving found objects as they are.
I guess what I like about art and found objects specifically is their susceptibility to chance. Like the picture below: it shows a connection between planned architecture, some kind of utilitarian water pipe, my angle of view and the picture/frame of my camera.
What is more interesting in my opinion is to take out the camera of the equation and obviously not move this thing to a gallery. Which gives us problems of creating a feasible arts practice out of found objects while not visually documenting or removing them from their surroundings.
What I would like to do is apply this to sound. How do you create a practice out of found sound objects without recording the sounds, (and then obviously playing them back somewhere and somehow) especially considering the fluctuating nature of found sound objects? Walks and texts?
